Back at the beginning of August! – A Break for the Summer / Winter

Hi, Friends – Karyn here from the Family Food for Moms podcast. I just wanted to let you know that I’ve decided to take a break from the podcast for three months. I won’t be publishing any episodes during May, June, and July, but I’ll be back at the beginning of August. I need to take a break over the American summer in order to really focus on marketing for my Case of Adventure business – I just won’t have time for everything. We’ve also got a grandmother visiting from Belgium, and a whole lot of other things going on.

It’ll be good to be refreshed, and to come back strong again. I really love doing this podcast and talking through things. I love thinking about celebrating with your family, about date nights, about learning new cooking skills, and about being inspired by different cultures and the way they do food. I’m excited to continue in August.

Here are a few episodes that you might be interested in. Let’s start with the most popular ones – though they might not necessarily be the best.

  1. Episode 25 – What We Can Learn About Food and Eating Habits in Biblical Times. I also find it fascinating how they lived and ate back then.
  2. Episode 82 – How to Disguise the Taste of Eggs (and Other Breakfast Ideas for When You Don’t Like Eggs!) That one is very popular.
  3. Episode 34 – What we can learn from the Amish about Food and Healthy Eating. The Amish are fascinating and they’ve got so many healthy habits, plus growing their own food and all of that. Even if you can’t grow your own food, it’s inspiring to hear what they do.
  4. Episode 20 – What is Donald Trump’s Favorite Meal? And Joe Biden’s? George Washington’s? A Fun Episode on what the Presidents Like to Eat.
  5. Episode 24 – What we can Learn From the Spanish about Food and School Lunches in Spain

You can listen to some of these over the summer / winter if you feel like it. Now let me tell you some of what my favorite episodes have been, going backwards:

There are lots of things that you can listen to that you may not have done so yet. Remember our Elegant, Easy Appetizers book. It contains elegant, easy appetizer recipes for when you’re having friends, or whenever you want to be able to make one very easily. They look very elegant and fancy without needing too much work.

Have a look through our past episodes. There are a whole lot – how to renew your passion for cooking, how to eat lunch like they do in Europe, salads, picnic food, food for toddlers and young children, and more. I’ll see you in August.

I hope you have a fabulous summer or winter, wherever you are. Thank you for being part of my audience. I really appreciate you!
